~ @ ~ A few weeks ago while researching online for information about the HP Elite-desk 800 G3 computer that I bought from eBay, I found a Youtube video which not only presents the HP 800-G3 but also compares it to the Lenovo M710q/M910q equivalent products. This review tends to come out in favour of the Lenovo's offering with respect to the easier access to components for upgrades. Consequently I decided to look more closely at the Lenovo's line of tiny computers, and before long has found a good bargain on eBay: a ThinkCenter M910q with i5-7500T 2.7 GHz CPU + 8 GB RAM + 128 SSD and built-in Wifi for $148 (after a 20% discount) The eBay seller is from the same city where I live, so the M910q was delivered very quickly after the order was placed. It has just about everything that I expected: a 7th-generation CPU, M2-SSD, built-in Wifi and Bluetooth, a caddy for addition 2.5" disk . The only thing that I would like to have added is a VGA display port for more flexibility. This machine came with Win 11 pre-installed, which makes it the first computer in my possession with this Microsoft OS. I have not been actively looking for an encounter with Win 11, but it bounds to happen sooner or later. Screenshot of Windows 11 running on Lenovo M910q:

@ @ @ This M910Q came with a Lite-On M2 SSD (128 GB) which has clocked over 16000 hours of operation. Running the performance test software against it revealed a PassMark disk index of 7879. I had a spare Samsung M2 SSD (model MZVL) bought from eBay a while back, another pre-owned item with about 700 hours of usage. Samsung is supposed to be a better brand, so decided to replace the Lite-On SSD with it to do a test. The PassMark disk index for the Samsung M2 SSD was found to be 14,266 (almost twice that of the Lite-On).
The Lenovo M910Q has a very good hardware design, which allows really easy access to all main components such as disk drives, RAM modules. One can perform upgrades on this machine literally without using any tools .
